Daniel Holloway 78, formerly of New Haven, died Dec 9th at the Chapin Center, Springfield, MA after a lenghty illness. Daniel was born in Arapahoe, Pimlico County, North Carolina, son of the late Hugh and Mary Johnson Holloway. A Veteran of both WW II and Korean Wars, he retired as a career Military Man in the US Army. He is survived by a daughter, Cocoa Holloway of Raliegh, NC, a brother, Robert Person of Tuskeegee, AL, sisters, Letha Dirton of Hamden, Delores Riggins and Joyce Person both of New Haven and Dorothy Croghan of Oceanside, CA. He was predecesed by siblings, Maggie Coedell and James Holloway. Daniel was buried in Beaverdale Cemetery, New Haven CT.
