Gertrude Barnes Hudson, age 101 off Pearl Street, Waterbury died April 18th at the Abbott Terrace Nursing Home. Gertrude was born in Gatesville, NC daughter of the late James and Alice Hofler Barnes. She was the widow of James Hudson. She is survived by a sister in law, Mrs. Agnes Barnes of Bayonne, NJ. and Alice Samuel of Piscataway, NJ. She was predeceased by a daughter,, Barbara Jean Hudson and sisters, Ada RAiddick, Thelma Lassiter, and Stella Hall and two brothers, Thurman Barnes and Marvin Barnes. Interment was in New Pine Grove Cemetery.
