Barbara L. Hunter

Barbara Louise Hunter 74 died Thurs, Jan 19th at Haven Health Center, after a long illness. She was the daughter of the late John W. and Naomi E Reddick Hunter. She was born in Wtby on Dec 15, 1931. Barbara graduated from Walsh Grammar School and Wilby High School. She attended college in Boston and New York. She was employed as a clothing buyer for a clothing firm in New York for
more than 20 years, before her retirement. She returned to Wtby in the 90's and renewed her membership with Grace Baptist Church. While living in New York she ws a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in the Bronx. where she served on the senior choir and with the church bowling league. She is survived by sisters, Jane Barfiled, M. Judy Abney of Wtby and Betty Ann Daley of Mattapan, MA. brothers, Deacon Roger W. Hunter of Moreno Valley, Ca., Deacon Franklin Hunter, Sr., and John E. Hunter of Wtby. a brother, Daniel E. Hunter predeceased her. Two aunts, Clonsie Reddick of Wtby and Emma Hunter of New Rochelle, NY.
