Benjamin Toliver Jr.

Bejamin Toliver Jr, 89 of Hamden CT, (formerly of Charleston WV), left his earthly home to enter into his eternal home and meet his Heavenly Father, our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ on July 21, 2014.

Benjamin was born on May 6, 1925, to the late Benjamin Sr., and Nellie Lemon Toliver, in Charleston WV. Ben was predeceased by his wife, Mary Jane; brother, Mack and sisters Ray Toliver and Ruth Page.

Survivors includes daughters Marsha Washington of Dunbar WV, Carole Pollard of Hamden CT, Denise Toliver of Winchester KY, Tammy Glenn of Tampa FL, Yvonne Toliver of Miami Fl, and Elizabeth Toliver of Charleston WV. Sons; Ben Toliver III, Jame (Etta) Toliver, Douglas Toliver and Donald Wilson all of Charleston WV. David (Natalie) Toliver of Overland Park KS, Joseph (Henrietta) Toliver of Gaithersburg MD, and Steve (Melissa) Toliver of Mars Hill NC, 29 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Ben also leaves a siser and two brothers, Nellie White of Wake Forest NC, Thomas (Phyllis) Toliver and Peter (Gina) Toliver, all of Charleston WV, Three sister -in-laws, Bobbie Toliver of Charleston WV, Ruth White of Pittsburgh PA, Dr. Carol Culpepper of North Port FL and many nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be Sunday, July 27th 6 to 8:00 PM at Snodgrass Funeral Home, 4122 MacCorkle Avenue, Souh Chareston WV. Services are Monday, July 28th at 11:00 AM at Grace Bible Churh, 600 Kanawha Blvd, West. Charleston WV. Interment with Military Honors at Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston WV.

Ben also leaves a sister and two brothers, Nellie White of Wake Forest NC, Thomas (Phyllis) Toliver and Peter (Gina) Toliver of Charleston WV; three sister-in-laws, Bobbie Toliver of Charleston, Dr. Carol Culpepper of Tampa FL, and Ruth White of Pittsburgh PA. and any neices nephewws and friends.
