Obituary

Carmen M. Cortes 75 of New Haven, died March 2, 2006 at the Clifton House Rehabilitation Center after a lenghty illness. Carmen was born June 20, 1930 in Utuado, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Victoria Diaz. She worked for many years as a Domestic. She is survived by sons, Samuel and Saraphine Cortes both of New Haven. Daughters, Yolanda Cortes of New Haven and Elba Cortes of Buffalo, NY. Brothers, Wejean, Calito and Miguel all of Puerto Rico and sisters, Anna and Chavi Cortes of Puerto Rico. 10 Grandchildren. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven.
