Mildred Nichols

Mildred Nichols 79 of New Haven died Nov 28th at the West River Healthcare Center in Milford.She was the widow of WinstonJackson. Mildred ws born in San Pedro de Marcos, Dominican Republic, daughter of the late William and Gertrude Paris Nichols. Mildred retired from Yale-NHH Housekeeping Dept., after 30 years of service. She was a faithful member of St Luke's Episcopal Church. Mildred is survived by a son, Luis Nichols(Audrey) of New Haven, two grandchildren, two brothers, John and Harris Nichols of Santa Domingo, D.R. sisters, Esperanza paris of Dominican Republic, and Cynthia DeCastro of Brooklyn NY. She was predeceased by sisters, Ylda Ladson, Ismay Paris, Beryl and Helena Nichols and a brother, Luther Nichols. Sa special niece Helena Lademo of Lutherville MD, and Thelma Castro of Nanuet, NY.
